About Me
Hello, my name is Ha Anh NGO, and I’m a first-year PhD student in the ALMAnaCH lab at Inria Paris, specializing in Multimodal models of repair in social human-agent interaction. Before my doctoral studies, I got a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Poland, where I worked on some CLARIN-PL projects focused on text-based emotion recognition. Outside of research, I enjoy reading, traveling, and capturing memories through photography.
Education
PhD in Computer Science
Inria Paris, Sorbonne University (Paris, France)
2024 - Present
My research focuses on multimodal models of repair in social human-agent interaction. I am interested in conversaional repair strategies in human-human interaction, and how this can be modeled and implemented in human-agent systems.
MSc in Applied Computer Science
Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Wroclaw, Poland)
2021 - 2023
My Master’s thesis focused on personalized model for emotion recognition with explainability using differential data map.
BSc in Computer Science
University of Science and Technology Hanoi (Hanoi, Vietnam)
2014 - 2017
My Bachelor’s thesis focused on optimization algorithms for the land lot division and allocation problem using Genetic Algorithms. I developed a software tool that can automatically divide and allocate land lots that satisfied architectural rules and government rules.
